A 50th Anniversary legacy to Albertans from Alberta Blue Cross
Alberta Blue Cross has established a $1 million scholarship fund to assist young Albertans pursuing post-secondary studies across the province. The fund celebrates the organization's 50th anniversary, and supports 65 scholarships awarded each year to young Albertans entering full-time post-secondary study in Alberta. These scholarships range from $750 to $1,500, and are awarded to Alberta students on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.
Most awards are administered directly through the accredited post-secondary institutions listed below. Alberta Blue Cross's three annual scholarships for Aboriginal students are administered directly by Alberta Blue Cross. Deadlines and application processes vary from one institution to another.
"Without bursaries provided by generous donors such as Alberta Blue Cross, some students would not be able to pursue their passions and goals of Post-Secondary education. Thank you, Alberta Blue Cross for all of the support that you provide, you are helping students realize their dreams!"
