Alberta Blue Cross® scholarships program at Mount Royal University

Alberta Blue Cross 50th Anniversary Bursary for Students with Special Needs

Value of award: $1,250

Number: One

Criteria:

  • Available to an Alberta student in the second year of a full time program at Mount Royal University who, because of a physical or other special challenge, will incur additional expenses to attend.
  • University receives recommendations through the Learning Skills Centre.
  • Award is also based upon financial need.
  • Students would be ineligible if receiving more than $3,000 in other awards for that academic year.

Field of study: Any undergraduate degree/diploma/certificate program of two or more years duration.


Alberta Blue Cross 50th Anniversary Scholarship for Entrance Students

Value of award: $1,250

Number: One

Criteria:

  • To be awarded annually to an Alberta resident entering a full-time program at Mount Royal University from high school with no previous post-secondary education.
  • Award also to be based on financial need.
  • Students would be ineligible if they were receiving more than $3,000 in other awards for that academic year.

Field of study: Any undergraduate degree/diploma/certificate program of two or more years duration.


Alberta Blue Cross 50th Anniversary Traveller's Scholarship

Value of award: $1,250

Number: One

Criteria:

  • To be awarded annually to an Alberta resident entering Mount Royal University from high school with no previous post-secondary education who must relocate more than 100 kilometers (one way) from their hometown to attend the institution.
  • The award is also based on financial need.
  • Students would be ineligible if they were receiving more than $3,000 in other awards for that academic year.

Field of study: Any undergraduate degree/diploma/certificate program of two or more years duration.
