Client Directed Home Care program
Client Directed Home Care supports people of all ages with their personal and home care needs.
How to access home care
To receive home care services:
- you must be an Alberta resident with a valid health care card
- your needs can be safely met in your home
- you meet the requirements determined by an Alberta Health Services case manager
To request an assessment, call 811. For more information about home care services, visit the Alberta Health Services website.
Providers can register for online claims submission
Are you a home care service provider? You can provide direct billing to clients by registering for online claims submission with Alberta Blue Cross®. Visit our home care providers page and choose Register. You will need access to our secure website to get started.
