What are Alberta Blue Cross's operating hours?

Regular office hours in Edmonton and Calgary are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time. Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat and Red Deer offices are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch between noon and 1 p.m.) Lethbridge office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. (open during the lunch hour). Do I have a claiming deadline?

Most plans indicate a specific period of time in which allowable expenses must be submitted. Please refer to your benefits booklet to determine how long you have to submit your expenses.

How do I verify if a dental procedure is covered under my plan?

Call our Customer Services department at 780-498-8000 (Edmonton), or toll free in the rest of the province at 1-800-661-6995. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Time. Your dentist's office can get this information by calling our office. Please ask your dentist to submit a Dental Treatment Plan if your dental work will be over $500.
