When to contact us
I have Alberta Blue Cross Travel coverage - who should I contact in the event of an emergency?
The emergency contact information is on the back of your travel ID cards. In the event of a Medical Emergency, outside of Alberta, please call the appropriate number listed below before you are hospitalized.
In all countries, or if you have any difficulties with the toll free numbers:

I purchased Alberta Blue Cross travel coverage and my travel dates have changed – what should I do?
It is important to contact us prior to the original departure date! Please contact Alberta Blue Cross Travel Specialists directly at 780-498-8550 or toll free at 1-800-394-1965 during our business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT). We are closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
Is there a specific form I am required to complete to submit a travel claim?
Yes. Please obtain and complete a Travel Claim form from Alberta Blue Cross. As well, you also need to obtain and complete the Insurance Claim Consent and Authorization form from Alberta Blue Cross.
Submit receipts or statements to Alberta Blue Cross along with the completed forms.
How do I add another family member to my Annual travel plan?

Does Alberta Blue Cross offer Visitors to Canada Travel coverage?
Alberta Blue Cross does not offer Visitors to Canada coverage. Please contact Ontario Blue Cross for their Visitors to Canada Plan at 1-866-732-2583.
