Look up a direct-bill provider

A direct-bill provider will bill the cost of your health-related expenses directly to your plan. It's a convenient way to avoid paying the full cost out of pocket. You only need to pay the amount that's not covered by your plan.

  1. Sign in to your member account.

    If you do not have one, you need to register for a member account.

  2. Go to Providers and select Direct bill providers map.
  3. Select a provider type from the list.
  4. If your location services is turned on:
    • A map will appear and show where direct-bill providers are located.
    • Continue to step 5.

    If your location services is turned off:
    • Choose your province.
    • If you choose a province other than Alberta, you can continue to TELUS Health to look up direct-bill providers. If you selected pharmacy as the provider type, continue to step 5.
  5. To view results, you can use any of the following methods:
    • zoom in to the numbered circles to see providers in your area, and click the pin for more details
    • drag the map to view providers in a different area
    • select a provider from the list to see their location on the map
    • enter an address in the search bar
